As a Managing Partner, I have many responsibilities, but primarily I handle managing The Social Shepherd's US team and operations, overseeing the US client business, and driving new business growth in the US market.

I love my unique position of working across two departments: Ops and Finance! It allows me to get stuck in with many aspects of the internal running of the company. It also means I get the absolute pleasure of working closely with so many of the team...and the TSS team is a pretty awesome flock to be part of!
Looking after the strategic side of the business, both internally, as well as the bigger picture of The Social Shepherd moving forward. From an internal perspective, I lead the strategy team and oversee client strategies, for both our retained and project-based business. With my team, we act as the agency QuarterBack, managing all aspects of social delivery and team collaboration.
Outside of the day-to-day, I support the overall growth of the business by working on optimising processes, identifying existing growth and securing new business opportunities.
I love the fast-paced dynamic nature of my role. One minute I’m working with the team developing TikTok strategies, to sitting in a senior management meeting and identifying growth opportunities the next. There’s just a captivating sense of entrepreneurialism and purpose all over the business, which makes every day unique.

As an account manager, my role consists of being the gatekeeper for clients and essentially putting myself in their shoes. This means that any tasks or communications from the client come through me, and it’s my responsibility to ensure that all deliverable teams are briefed in on requirements and deadlines, whilst also continuing to update the clients on progress. I am also responsible for managing client relationships, so to be the face of The Social Shepherd should they have any issues, but to also celebrate successes with them too.
As a logical thinker and a problem solver, my favourite part of my role is actually to help find solutions to any pinch points that we find with clients. Sounds a bit strange, but the way I see it is that if we are lucky enough to find new challenges to overcome, that means these accounts are growing, right?
The landscape of Social is constantly evolving, so maintaining a good baseline knowledge of changes and developments across all departments means I am constantly growing my skillset.
Being the main point of contact for clients has its highs and lows, for sure, but there is no better feeling than celebrating a great piece of work with a dedicated team and a happy client!
As an Account Manager it is my responsibility to liaise between clients and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of all projects according to the clients needs are met. From budgets and costings to a quick chat I'm the core contact for clients and colleagues here at The Social Shepherd.
Is being solution focused and helping liaise internally to help clients achieve their business goals. It's also great to watch all the hard work each department puts into each client and let the results speak for themselves.
From concept to final product, my role is to support the creative process by scheduling our creative teams from pre-production through post-production, which includes securing locations, booking models/talent, acquiring props, ensuring smooth shoot days and that our final edits are all completed to client's timelines and a high standard.

The variety of work. Each campaign is different and has its own objectives. This means that there is always an exciting new goal to work towards. Working collaboratively with our UGC Creators. We have started to form a really strong TSS Creator Community, filled with talented and diverse Creators - it's super exciting. I love that this means everyday is different, I get to challenge myself to think creatively and strategically to deliver the best UGC creatives for our Clients where no two briefs are the same, it keeps things interesting!
