About Us - The Social Shepherd 🐑

We're a fast-growth Social-first agency helping global brands, household names, and high-growth scale-ups accelerate the growth of their business.

Having recently won Best Large Social Agency in the UK and continued growth, we're now looking to take on our next member of the flock to enhance our Paid Social team!

As well as our Paid Media offering, we also help brands with Organic Social, Creative, Influencer and Strategy.

First of all, here are some important things...

🏠 Work From Home: we operate a hybrid model where team members come to the office 3 days a week. A lot of our team loves working collaboratively together, but they also like the option and balance of being able to work from home.

🏋️ Benefits Package: Our collaboration with Bupa & Perkbox grants you access to a spectrum of health services, discounts, benefits, and perks. And that's not all – enjoy your birthday off and kickstart a healthier commute with our cycle-to-work scheme, all yours upon successfully completing your probationary period.

🕐 Flexible hours: some people are early birds, and others like to start later. We allow people to set their own times, with some people starting at 8am and getting to finish up earlier! We trust our team to get their work done on their schedule.

❤️ We’re committed to equality of opportunity for all. We welcome applications from individuals regardless of their race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, age, gender, or disability status. We want to support diverse and inclusive work environments and are actively looking for people who share our values.

💰 Bi-Annual Bonus: rewarding our team is something we love to do. Everyone who's in the team enjoys bonuses based on business performance & and growth!

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Paid Social Manager you’ll work on all the strategy and day-to-day management of our client's media buying across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest and other social channels.

Once this role has had the opportunity to settle in, we'll then look to bring a Paid Social Executive within your team, who you would line manage.

  • Building & and developing your own, and the agencies', approach to paid social media buying. Applying original thought to build solutions to client business challenges, both with new business pitches and existing clients.
  • Executing campaigns to an industry-standard best practice across Paid Social.
  • Leading a team of 1x Paid Social Executives. This will involve day-to-day line management, task management and nurturing their learning in the world of Paid Social.
  • Continually optimise ad accounts to achieve the absolute best results for clients, taking into account performance across different channels.
  • Helping clients understand performance by reporting in a holistic, informative way.
  • Managing client relationships, ensuring they're kept in the loop of exactly what we're doing to optimise their performance. This involves weekly/bi-weekly calls with clients.

We have clients spending £25k - £1m+ per month and deliver activity across the UK, Europe, North America and ROW.

Requirements

  • You have hands-on experience running campaigns on Facebook Ads Manager. Experience with other platforms such as Pinterest, TikTok, Snapchat and Twitter is preferable.
  • You’ll have a minimum of 3+ years of experience working with paid social (agency-side preferable but not essential).
  • You'll have experience in team management or have the desire to line manage.
  • You’ll have experience running and scaling accounts using Paid Social and an aptitude for driving business growth.
  • Analysing accounts to achieve client objectives, utilising your knowledge, creativity, problem-solving and evaluation of results.
  • Confidence with numbers and data analysis.
  • In-depth experience with Google Analytics, Google Looker Studio and Google Tag Manager.
  • Curious and adaptable: It’s a fast-moving industry and products change and adapt weekly, and you must be happy with keeping up to date with changes and learning about how they may impact our output.

Salary
