×Our Marketing team is back with a roundup of news & industry updates. This way, we keep our team, clients and interested marketers up to date with what's going on in the social media industry :)
Instagram has expanded access to a feature they’re developing at the minute: several links in bio. There would be the main link on the profile's bio, followed by a number of additional links. Once users clicked there, all the links would pop up on screen.
This looks like an attempt to eliminate the need for third-party tools such as Linktree and keep everything in-platform.
Instagram is testing a way to delete Reels once posted and move them back to drafts. This would be a great update for minimal amends instead of having to delete and create the Reel again from scratch.
After scaling down shopping features, Instagram has announced that they’re testing new ad options to improve revenue.
A few weeks ago, we announced that Instagram was working on a new feature for creators to build their Media Kits (now called Creator Portfolios) in-app and for brands to have easy access to their main audience and performance insights.
Information that could be added:
Twitter has just launched a test of ‘Views’ count on some users’ tweets. This will better highlight posts’ reach alongside retweets and likes.
The Social Shepherd has changed a lot in the last 4 years.
Listen to our Co-Founders, Jack & Zoe, discuss the agency's growth so far and plans for the future.
