Improved DM Control Options on Instagram

Google keep working on ways to use generative AI search to help users find what they’re looking for more effectively.

The latest update is how-to videos at the top of the results page, as Google confirms that users learn something faster by visualising it, not reading about it.

TESTING - Collaborative Posting on Instagram

Pinterest Holiday Planning

August is never too early to start planning the holiday season, especially on Pinterest. They’ve just launched an infographic on user behaviour and actions to take on every single month.

  • August: Users are open to new ideas, and brands that start advertising during this season see stronger results.

  • September: Users go into decision-making, narrowing down gift lists and travel itineraries. Advertising during this period helps brands to be considered.

  • November: Users take action and start doing all the things they planned in the previous months. Advertising during this period is key, as demand is always high in December.

  • January: Use the momentum to build relationships with customers and users that have discovered your brand during the holiday season. It’s also advised to make the most from low CPMs during this period, as there’s lower competition.
