Instagram In-App Post Scheduling Rollout

After testing this for a few weeks, Instagram has begun to roll it out across all accounts. So, if you don’t have it yet, it should come shortly

Business accounts will be able to schedule posts & Reels up to 75 days in advance. To do this, when uploading content you’ll go into ‘Advanced Settings’ before selecting the date & time you want it to be scheduled for.

Instagram Adds Music to Still Images

Instagram has included the option to add music (a 5 to 90-second segment) to still posts, to provide a better experience in the same way users can with Reels and Stories.

Twitter Hits All-Time High of Active Users

Elon Musk recently announced that Twitter hit more active users in a single day than ever before.

If this continues, and Elon can improve Twitter’s ad platform, we could see a huge amount of advertisers shift a percentage of their media budget here.

Twitter Pauses the $8 Blue Checkmark

It’s come as no surprise that allowing any account to be verified by paying $8/month has drastically increased the number of people impersonating people and brands.

Pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly’s share price dropped by +3% after an account impersonated them and wrote untrue tweets. This situation is probably the first of many until Twitter are able to fix this issue.
