Instagram is Testing Adding Buttons to Posts

Instagram is working on the ability to add buttons on posts to make it easier to get in touch with the user or brand, as well as book appointments.

Testing Audio Track Replacements on Instagram

This audio is no longer available’ is a more common pop-up message on Instagram than we would like to. Therefore, leaving many Reels with no sound.

This is why the platform is working on a feature to replace audio once it’s no longer available. However, the platform will only allow the audio to be changed once, and there won’t be a way to undo this action.

TikTok Allows High-Quality Uploads

TikTok has finally added an option to allow high-quality uploads. This will improve the overall user experience, as well as have an impact on content performance, as the TikTok algorithm prioritises higher-quality content on the ‘For You’ page.

Brand Loyalty Grows on TikTok

This year’s Brand Keys Customer Loyalty Leaders List has been released, and we’ve seen some noticeable differences from last year’s list.

The most obvious one is TikTok, which rose from spot No.21 to No. 5, while Facebook fell 17 spots and Instagram 6. This is yet another proof of how user behaviour is changing and the kind of content and authenticity that audiences demand.

New Products Announced at Canva Create

Our team loves Canva, so we’re excited to see new updates.

Last week, at the Canva Create, the company announced new product offerings such as Canva Docs, Canva Websites, Canva Whiteboards and Data Visualisation. Other exciting announcements included removing background from videos, launching an API for developers, and a creator program.

Licenses to Use Copyrighted Music on YouTube

YouTube has announced that later this year in the US, they’ll launch Creator Music, allowing creators to buy licenses to use copyrighted songs or revenue share without losing out on monetisation on long-form videos. They would consider making it available in other countries if this first launch succeeds.
