Our Marketing team is back with a roundup of news & industry updates. This way, we keep our team, clients and interested marketers up to date with what's going on in the social media industry :)
TikTok has added a new tool called ‘Keyword Insights’ to help brands and marketers to find out which keywords and phrases resonate best on TikTok ads. This new feature can be found in Creative Center.
TikTok has added a new feature to LIVE so users can add an ‘About Me’ section. Therefore, viewers can see it when they start watching a LIVE and at the top of the LIVE Community benefits introduction before subscribing.
Meta has expanded Facebook Reels’ length to 90 seconds. This update was needed since the company made all videos on Instagram under 15 minutes Reels.
Another feature that was available on Instagram but not on Facebook yet. Meta is rolling Reel templates to all Facebook users, so users have access to more creative tools. On top of that, the platform will also launch ‘Grooves’, a feature that automatically syncs motion in videos to the beat of a song.
Pinterest is currently testing a new ad placement option that would allow brands and marketers to the top of Pinterest's search page for 24 hours. It will be a short video with a text overlay and a button that will redirect users to the brand’s website within the Pinterest app.
This feature is currently under beta testing with selected partners, with a broader launch later in the year.
